I always require a small test power supply for my
hobby work. Considering that for my rough tests I can not use (or be
allowed!!) expensive digital power supplies, I decided to make this
small power supply which works with my 12V SMPS Adaptor which I
already own.
Design uses One Large 78XX Regulator and One small
78LXX type of regulator.
DC connector will receive anything from 12 to 18V DC
(From Laptop adaptor perhaps) and convert it to required output.
You may use following regulators with this board:
1Amp: 7805, 7806, 7808, 7809, 7810 and 7812.
100ma: 78L05, 06, 08, 10 and 12
If you wish to use 7812 or 78L12 to get 12V DC
output, its recommended that you use 18V DC SMPS adaptor to power this
board.
